Across different projects, I’ve used Rhino 3D modeling, 3D printing, resin printing, resin molding, and laser cutting to move ideas from concept to final form. Rhino has helped me build accurate digital models, which I’ve then brought into the real world through both standard and high-detail resin printing. Some of these printed pieces became masters for resin molds, allowing me to recreate shapes consistently and with clean detail. These tools let me explore ideas quickly and create finished work with a high level of craft.

The objective of this project was to design a 3D model of a car, measuring at least 10 inches in width, using Rhino 3D modeling software. The individual components were then prepared for fabrication, laser cut and etched from acrylic and wood, and assembled. In order for the car to function, 3D printed two pieces to put on the axel with pieces that stuck out so a rubber band could be attached to create tension when the wheels spun. To accompany the physical model, I created a digital plan and a formal colored model.

Self- Propelled Car

The goal of this project was to take an existing object and recreate it using rhino software with the exact dimensions, using a digital caliper. I chose a Zoku Pocket Reusable Straw that was three pieces, and the straw itself could extend. The goal was to challenge my skills in Rhino sofware.

3D Resin Printing & Resin Molding

These are board game pieces for a board game package design class.
There is a separate page for the whole game here: Board Game
Part of the project was to create the small pieces of the game; I created a deduction game, where someone unlocked a monkey cage. the pieces I created where the possible tools they used to do it. These are no larger than an inch long, and are therefore very intricate for their scale.
I also created pawns with resin molds, mixing colors to match the six characters t-shirt colors.
