Showcase Work

Work that was selected for galleries and or class capstone projects that had their own showcase.

FIRST YEAR PROGRAM GALLERY

War Outfit was put in the first year program gallery (for first year students). This is made completely from card board and adhered together with glue. The piece had to be completely wearable. Big thanks to the Frederick R Layton art program for their continued part in the art program and their donations toward my schooling.

CROSSING OVER ART GALLERY 2023

Scaffidi’s was displayed in the UWM union art gallery through the Frederick R Layton scholarship. This is a colored pencil drawing that includes a mash up of multiple taken photographs. The point was to express where I came from, and where I am now. Also, thank you to the Mary Van Deven art program for their dedicated support in me and the Peck School of the Arts.

DVC BFA CAPSTONE EXHIBITION

Culprit, was put up in the annual BFA show to display my board game, that I created from the ground up. It is a whodunnit game that involves mystery solving.

BFA EXHIBIT

Superseede, is my capstone speculative design showcase that is the creation of a world in 2075 based on the question: What if… genetically engineered flowers could replace fossil fuels entirely, to lower greenhouse gas emissions and lessen the impacts of climate change?

CROSSING OVER 2024

CHAOS, is a linocut project done in my Screen printing and book arts class. It embodies the chaos within order. As a part of the scholarships I have earned, I was able to participate in the crossing over gallery again.

CROSSING OVER 2024

DICSO, is a personal poster project based on my friend, Abby (Shown on the left) holding up a disco ball. I have a deep interest in the disco revolution, and wanted to display it in a modern context. This was displayed in the same gallery as CHAOS.
